Welcome
When you enter the
door you will know that you are in a special place. Tobacco Cabana is
not just another pipe and tobacco shop, it is a place where every
corner is special. You begin to wonder how so much can be in so small a
space. It is a well organized space with everything in its place, not
just neat but beautiful in its own way. In a space that is about the
size of a large office you have a well appointed shop. Yes the place is
special.
When I arrived there were four people already in
the shop. That's five people in a small space, but the space is not so
small because each customer has found his corner. We all converse about
some topic that Jim has commented on and of course cigars and pipes.
Did I fail to mention that the place feels like home, or maybe like a
small club house? I must warn you that it can be hard to leave Tobacco
Cabana. If you are a pipe or cigar lover, Tobacco Cabana is like a
museum, with so many varieties of cigars and pipes and accessories.
Now you know a place like this didn't just happen on its own. You know
there has to be something special behind a place like the one I just
described.
That special ingredient would be Jim Klipp
Tobacco Cabanas owner. Jim greets all of his customers with a smile and
usually a story. He makes everyone feel at home and if you want to know
anything about any of the 3000 different items in the store, Jim has
the answer from the finest cigar to the best lighter or pipe pouch. You
name it Jim knows about it. Well now that you know about the shop I
will let Jim tell his own story.
